I love coming here! The exhibits are always well put together for easy self-guided exploration. I especially love the exhibits with Spokane area and Native American history. The traveling exhibits are also always excellent; today it was all about Dreamworks Animation. A few years ago it was The Titanic. And as a bonus, the historic Campbell House next door is included in the admission

Took my mom and two teenagers today to see the DreamWorks exhibit. My daughter takes animation and graphic design and she could've spent all day there, leading tours if they'd let her. It was really, really awesome !!

I try to come several times a year, depending on the featured exhibit. If you get a chance to see the Campbell House with a guided tour, I recommend it. Then go back at your leisure to take it all in at your own pace. First full weekend of of each month is free for certain bank card holders; good for a discount, bad that it gets crowded.

Upon entering the museum, we were met with friendly staff. After paying for admission, there's a small gift shop on the right that's best visited before you leave (go ahead and skip for now and head downstairs). The rest of the museum is on lower levels of the building. Note: This museum was very quiet and hardly any visitors were present. Great place if you want to take your time and really enjoy the pieces. DO NOT expect this museum to be colossal. In my opinion, it's on of the smaller ones in the state. *We went through everything pretty quick and was hoping for more. This museum is interactive to an extent. There are rooms were you can get creative (hat making, crafts, etc.) Definitely a cool place for your inner child if your inner child likes crafting among taxidermy. :) The best parts for me where the stained glass exhibits. Purely magical! The strangest part was the indigenous display showing beer cans crafted into ceremonial items. Would be nice to see those items as seen before beer cans made it on the scene. (See photos) Walking down the stairs to the end of the museum, you'll see what looked like papermache hanging animals on the small stairwell. At the bottom there's stacked museum furniture and... you're done... Take the elevator back up, and now would be a good time to check out the gift shop. Overall 5☆/5☆ experience. I came into it expecting to be way bigger, but to no fault of the museum's. A clean place overall too.

Only Saturday and Sunday. They have specific dates listed on their website
Best bet is to call the museum.
Adult tickets were $12 each and includes the museum and Campbell House tour
The poster they had up last week said 7:00 PM on July 29th-31st and 5:00 PM on August 1st. 2316 West First Avenue.
Call them, I was able to change mine.
Pop Art.
"Pompeii: The Immortal City" is an exhibition that was developed and produced by TEMPORA in collaboration with Cevita and Filmmaster, based on the scientific research of Museo Archeologico Nazionale di Napoli and Museo Galileo Istituto e Museo di Storia della Scienza, Firenze, and distributed by Exhibits Development Group. This exhibit was previously featured at the Science Museum of Virginia, and after it's showing at the MAC, the exhibit will be shown at the Orlando Science Center in Florida.
The "Norman Rockwell's America" exhibit will close on January 12th, 2020. Many other main exhibits at the MAC will be also closing on January 12th, in order to accommodate for the installation of "Pompeii: The Immortal City," which will open to the public on February 8th, 2020.
I think regular admission is $10? The best way to go is to buy a family membership for $75. Good for a year.
Hi there Zachary, admission currently is half-price until July 3rd. Our regular admission prices are as follows: Adults (18+) are $10 Seniors (65+) are $8 College Students w/Valid ID are $8 Children/Students (6-17) are $5 Children 5 and under are FREE! Thank you and have a wonderful day!
Buy tickets right at the door. Be sure to give yourself plenty of time to view the exhibits before closing.
Hi Sherri, Yes, we do have wheelchairs available upon request. We hope to see you soon!
I'd say about a hour. You could spend a few hours easily!
The kids seem to really like the Campbell House tour and the history. Our guide made the tour interactive with the kids. Also there was a coloring wall in one of the exhibits which was a community wall.
You can go online to their website and view their current exhibits.

It does change with exhibits sometimes. Best bet is to check their website. But agreed membership is the best option!
You do not need an appointment. Cambel house has certain hours of service.
