20 years ago I built my house using Mercer double-pane windows, which included a lifetime warranty. I've had some seals leak which causes the windows to fog up, but Mercer honored the warranty by replacing the fogged windows. Recently several windows fogged up. I found that VPI took over Mercer in 2014. I contacted Brianna at VPI about two very large windows with seal issues; Jim and Brandon just completed the replacement. If you are looking for a hassle-free window company that honors "life-time warranties", you can count on VPI!

The windows themselves are nice and efficient. The warranty service response is lacking at best. We have been trying to get repairs done on our windows for months! I finally heard back from someone after 2 months of trying to get a response. Someone came out and did a very poor job of explaining what needed to be done and what would be done after he left. From what I could gather, it seemed like he would order new parts and contact me when the arrived. This was three months before this review. I contacted VPI service department again two months after the first repair person came out after having heard nothing. After another month waiting for a response, I have still not received a phone call or e-mail back with any kind of update. With this level of service, I am extremely disappointed with the way this company does business. I will not do business with them again. I just want my windows fixed.
