My husband and I both enjoy the Anytime Fitness in Oro Valley. They have really great weight racks and pulley systems with all the grips and attachments you could possibly want. Plenty of free weights, kettlebells, medicine balls, steps, foam rollers, blocks, stability balls, and a bunch of equipment with to-be-discovered uses. Cardio equipment is well-rounded with regular bikes, ellipticals, rowers, stair climber, and treadmills. We usually go between 7am-9am, and it's never too crowded. Everything is clean and well stocked.

Although the staff is friendly, the gym is incredibly small and the weights don’t go up very high. Limited machines and space make a good workout difficult to get.

My husband and I joined Anytime Fitness because of the convenient location and perfect size. We stay because of the wonderful staff and great equipment. The personal trainers (PTs) focus on providing exercises that are geared to the individual client to ensure maximum benefit from each workout. Richard, my awesome PT, always challenges me with workouts that hit multiple muscle groups. I already feel stronger after less than 2 months with Richard. I highly recommend Anytime Fitness, whatever your fitness goals may be.

So I read the other reviews and here's my two cents. I've been working out primarily at Anytime fitness almost everyday for the last two years. Prior to that I was at LA fitness until I got fed up with the crowds, peak hours, and the attitude of most of the members. Yea the rates are a bit higher than LA fitness or platinum fitness. However I've belonged to all three gyms in the past. Here's what your paying for at anytime: - a mostly empty gym which means there aren't 15 gym bros taking 2 hours on the bench press machine or asking you if your are almost done. There aren't girls spending their afternoon on the squat rack when you know they could be done in 15 minutes. Free weights that are always available. - a clean gym which the members wipe down equipment after using. Most people at LA fitness don't clean the machines after they use them. Gross.. - clean private bathrooms. - anytime fitness facilities in about every city you go too. So in closing if you want to save a few dollars by all means go to another gym. But if your trying to go get a quick workout in without having to watch someone flex in the mirror or not having to wait on people then maybe give Anytime fitness a chance and I think you'll realize how nice it is. Just go visit one and see how empty and clean the gym is...
