They made the worst biriyani ever. The rice is hard and the chicken has the uncooked smell of ginger. For the chicken they added lots of red color outside but inside it looks brown, which means it's spoiled chicken and expired. Please avoid this place if you are looking for good biriyani. The starters are also worst. They used to be good but nowadays the quality is degraded. Only eat if you want to risk spoiling your stomach.

I had a very good experience in this place. I had a chicken biryani, the dish was big and very delicious. It was a lil bit too spicy to my taste but the yogurt was really helping and refreshing. The restaurant is clean and the staff is really friendly. The manager was really helpful in helping us understand the menu and recommend good dishes. We tried chicken tikka masala which was really good, not very spicy, only had a tasty enjoyable kick. The tandoori chicken was very tasteful perfect spicy level, but felt like the quantity was small. The tandoori lamb chops and the mixed tandoori platters were very very good. Good quantities and perfect spices. All are served with white basmati rice. The nan was good, the garlic naan was my favorite. As a desert, we had the gulab juman. It was warm with perfect sweetness. I really liked it myself

Unfortunately, I have to revise my opinion of this place downwards - which is a shame. Now that COVID restrictions have lifted, a few friends who love the cuisine of India, decided to revisit this place. It's been one of our favorites for years. I called for a reservation and was told that they do not take reservations on the weekend as these are their busiest days. I get that, so did not take offense, but notified the group of this fact, and we all agreed that the first one in, would get a table and text the rest of us. The first person was me, and when I entered the place it was mostly empty! There were only two occupied tables. Throughout the whole evening, no more than three tables - aside from us - was ever taken. So, why could we not make a reservation??? Some of us wanted beers while deciding on what to order; others wine. The menu has a listing for liquor, and there are orange liquor license signs on the front door and behind the main counter. We have had alcoholic beverages here before, so the orange signs were confusing. The waiter came over - not wearing a mask, by the way! - and we asked to order some drinks. Turns out they only served Corona or Taj Mahal beers, and only by the glass. Apparently, this is because the ownership recently changes and the liquor license is still caught up in the red tape. None of us knew what Taj Mahal is, so we asked. The explanation is that it was a very good and dark beer that is similar to a. Guinness. Interesting. So, a couple of us ordered it. When the beers arrived, even the waiter could not tell the difference between the Corona and the Taj Mahal .... and he POURED THEM FROM THE BOTTLES!!! They were both light in color. The Taj Mahal, by flavor, was pretty light. More like an IC Light than anything else. Hmm.... Next we ordered our food. One of the dishes was unavailable. No biggie, we ordered a replacement. When the appetizers arrived, the samosas were delivered without the customary chutneys. These were pretty ordinary. The Samosas came at the same time as the Ginger Fish and the sauce on the fish was very tasty, so we used that sauce as a flavoring on the samosas - which worked well. We also ordered the Spring Dosa - and it was delicious. The crepe was crispy and the sauces were good. The filling was sliced and chopped veggies and the whole ensemble worked well, except that one of us almost choked on an Asparagus spear bottom that was not chopped and was very woody and unchewable. The main dishes we ordered included a Vegetable Biryani which was unpleasantly sour; A very runny Saag Paneer; A flavorless Chicken Rogen Josh; and a reasonably good Aloo Gobi Masala. To marry it all together, we also ordered a bread basket which had three different versions of Naan, which were great. The dishes came out in a haphazard order. Two appetizers, than a main dish, then another appetizer. The break basket came out last. Why that? As you can tell, the restaurant staff is very disorganized. When we discussed the experience afterwards, we all agreed that the quality of the food had deteriorated remarkably from what we remembered. None of us are sure if this is because of the change in ownership and/or staff, or what might be the cause, but we are not likely to return here for a while.
