Great place. First time skaters and we rented skates and used a walker thing so we stayed upright!

Laser light show Friday skating was awesome! Definitely worth the $10. Recommend bringing water to drink, but there are vending machines.

So much fun! What an awesome family activity....even if you are a beginner, like me, you will have a blast here. Friday nights are a lot of fun with the DJ and cosmic skating. The free skate sessions are fun no matter when you go though. The only thing is, I wish the zamboni would come out a little more often.

Fun for the whole family (even if I can't skate good). Also it's fun watching their hockey league games! Decent admission price, skate rentals and concession stand.

You can bring your own or rent them there.
They do but sometimes the skate rental/sharpening office (immediately to the right as you walk through the first set of doors) doors are closed. I believe you can still walk in and go to the main office (to the right as you pass though the second set of doors and enter the arena) and request assistance.
When I went the other day it was $10/person for skating and another $5 to rent a pair of skates.
PIA rents skates, if you're looking to buy used I would recommend going to Gunns Sport Sho on Greenpoint road in Brewer
