Home Is Where My House Is

Clearly asked to do a haircut with scissors and don't just use clippers like last time becauseitlooks terrible. She said ok and immediately grabbed the clippers and spent 5 minutes giving me exactly what I said not to do. She did it like a insult for asking. I will never go back.

Expensive for what you receive, but it's acceptable in a pinch. I was able to get a significantly less expensive haircut with more skilled barbers in Beaverton. Overall friendly service, and they're doing what they can to stay afloat with all of the covid restrictions and thin staff. Perhaps assess the skill level and review those skills and the results will improve drastically, or at least put them in alignment with the price.

My boys and I have gone to this shop for years. I have never had any of the issues that some of the bad reviewers claim. The ladies are friendly and do a good job. Although, its never happened to me; I have seen them redo a customer's haircut (I think it was a week later) and not charge them. I suspect some of the bad reviews are from competing shops. You should give this shop a try and make your own opinion.

I walked in and the shop was empty. I should have known to leave then. A minute or two later I was greeted by someone that stuck their head from behind a closed door. The "barber" walked out a minute later and told me where to sit. She asked what haircut I would like. I explained it to her. She told me that if she did what I asked it would not look smooth. (This is the same haircut I ask at every other place with zero issues) She proceeded to tell me what she was going to do instead. I said okay.... She never said another word. She turned my chair towards the wall so I couldn't see in the mirror. She began cutting my hair. 5-10 minutes later she turns me towards the mirror. I notice it looked terrible. It wasn't what I asked for and even if it was what she told me she was going to do it was very poor quality. She didn't take my cowlicks into account, my hair was uneven in several spots, etc. I told her that I didn't like it and started saying some things I noticed. She took the cape off and started walking over to reception area. I asked that's it? And she said yes. I told her it was a terrible haircut. She told me that it was what I asked for. I told her it wasn't at all what I asked for. She never once offered to fix or work to find a different style I would be satisfied with. I paid the 14 dollars with zero tip and left. All that to say I will never step foot in this place again and I suggest you don't either.

I have yet to see a Black person there so I don't know. My gut feeling is to say no.
