Normally the employees here are pleasant and helpful but I had 2 recent interactions with an incredibly rude and unhelpful woman working the front desk. She is condescending, disrespectful and generally unhelpful. Certainly not the type of customer service I’ve knows from UPS stores over many years. For four years I have been spending my summers in Portland, and I have been using this UPS store to receive packages. This year I was thinking about not using this store because I would hate going into this store because one of the 3-4 ladies that worked there would be sooo rude! Not always, but I will say she has never been nice. So, last week I go in there and I was trying to find a the right size box for what I was shipping, and she was rude AGAIN, rolling her eyes, huffing and puffing (I wasn't grasping what she was saying). Well the other girl working steps in and in one sentence she explained what she was trying to say, in such a nice manner!! I was trying to pick up my packages as she just looked at me with a dirty look. Well I told her she was rude, and would you believe she said thank you. I do believe that's the first time she ever told me thank you ! I go in yesterday to pick up a package and she was so nice, and puts my package on the counter and says $10! I have received the same exact size, weight, and idem (15x15x15 x 2lb) and its always been $5 and I have received, larger and heavier! Also i have been receiving the same package in over 20 UPS store across the country and never charged $10. I could be wrong, but i do believe that her being so nice that day and charging me $10 was a game for her! Its ok I can certainly spend my money at another store, and I would advise anyone to do the same!

I've gone to this UPS store several times and each time I'm treated as if I am interrupting the associate. I'm never greeted or thanked. The same associate has helped me each time and common courtesies seem to be lost on them. Go support another business who will appreciate your time and money.

I've been to this UPS store many times and all the employees are very friendly and helpful! As soon as I walk in I am greeted with a hello and how can I help you. I am constantly dropping off pre-paid packages that aren't taped up or labels on them and they will immediately ask if I am just dropping off and will take care of the rest. They will tape up the boxes, affix the labels and send them on their way. They make it so easy. I love this store and will continue to come here for all my shipping needs.
