Finish work is terrible. We have had our mfg home from Skyline and have had the drainpipe in bathroom come completely unattached from the sink with water spilling everywhere. The baseboard trim is just straight cut. No miter cuts, so it looks unprofessional. The blinds were installed so close to the windows, that the locking latch on the windows catches the blinds whenever you try and raise them, thus breaking the wood blinds. They installed the hand held adjustable shower head incorrectly, so that a person over 5'2" cannot fit under it. I also noticed that the cedar siding is fading where it has gotten wet from my sprinkler. They definitely need to take a look at quality control in their finish department.

I walk using a walker so the first thing I notice is the door or doors of a business, are they heavy or lite. Skylines door, not only was Skylines door light but they had a ramp that let me walk all the way to their front door. So, kudos for Skyline Homes INC for being a handicap friendly business! Once I was in the building I was greeted by a nice lady and I said hi in return. I asked her if she minded me asking her a few questions and she said sure. I asked her how long she had worked here and she said 30 years. And I said I don't think I have to ask you if you enjoy your work. She said no but ill answer anyway, I love my job here! I asked what the company does here and she said we build houses from top to bottom. Then we get orders for them so we ship them out to different places. I asked her where they ship them and she said Washington, California and even Idaho. I asked how many people work here and she said 160 to 170 people worked there. I'm sure if you wanted a Skyline home and lived in Oregon that they would ship yours to where ever you wanted it. They had a lot of pre-made homes next to their building. Built just the way the people who ordered them built. I said my goodbyes and thanked her for her time and then I left the building so I could get right to my car and write my review.

2 1/2 years into our Skyline home ownership and all we can say is, buyer beware. We walk into our home and wonder, what's going to go wrong next. We never expected such poor quality control and workmanship. We were told we would get exactly the same quality as the model home, that didn't happen. We never got things resolved like promised. I wish I could post pictures of just a few examples. Do not fall for the promises like we did.
