They take cats. But you need to call and speak to them. Don't just show up with 7 cats. They will gratefully accept food donations . Bag size doesn't matter. I think they can use any brand since they have more than dogs and cats. They also take in wildlife ( not for adoption tho). You can double check me on that when you call. I was there last weekend. They did have a few empty cats spaces.

An aggressive dog or cat? Generally in both, the animal is starting to feel its hormones, and should be fixed. If it's a matter of unprovoked aggression in an aggressive breed, then training by a professional is needed. Either that or find a breed society who will try to help. The shelter will put down an aggressive animal. Call the Humane Society to get other ideas.

Try Facebook, West Pasco Pets, or get the Neighbors app (Ring), or the Neighborhood app. Posting on all of these can be very effective for finding a pet.

Call animal services put on lost pets on Facebook. Call all cat shelters and alert them to your missing animal.

Hi, I was a volunteer here for a year and because it is such a small shelter and there isn't always a lot to do to physically keep busy, the cats and dogs get lots of play time! The dogs each get a turn running around the big yard in the back and the cats not only have a porch but on slow days they're also let out one at a time to walk around the shelter. It wouldn't be uncommon for there to be a cat sprawled out on the main desk lol. Other than that, there's a big room in the back where new volunteers who don't have a lot of training are able to sit and play with kittens so they get their energy out!
