We can’t say enough about the quality of training our four year old Arab received at Platinum Horsemanship. It was a pleasure to receive one on one training with Abel and to follow the progress in my horse’s foundation. We can’t thank him enough for what he has done for both myself and my boy. We were not sure what we were going to end up with not having a history on East but I know what we came home with. East is a complete gentleman, willing, and trusting and he is a pleasure to have as my partner. Thank you Abel for making my dreams come true with this little man.

My husband and I decided we wanted to move away from the water and have horses. We are both in our 60's and had zero experience with horses. I took lessons on our first horse, it was good but I learned how to sit up straight turn and all the basic riding skills. We then bought Caroline our TWH, she was 7 years old and very pretty but she was always nervous. Then we went out on the trail and she reared up on me and the final straw was when she took off on me at home and I got dumped on the driveway. I was about to sell her but my farrier recomended Abel. Best decision ever! She spent 4 months with Abel and she is now a different horse. Her head is now soft and she no longer rears or throws her head around. The final 2 months he worked with me to retrain me and show me how to keep her soft and focused and in the case she did spook and wanted to run I now know how to handle it. He taught me more than riding he taught me horsemanship. Abel is a great trainer both horse and human! Well worth the money. Thanks Abel!

First horse I ever invested in and made the leap to have him professionally trained-Blessed to have made the right decision on the right trainer (worth every penny)!! Abel knows what he is doing, has a true passion for what he does...but not only that, wants the horse and the owner to build that relationship as well, before they take them home. Our horse was there 4 months (but at 2 months was 100% transformed) and glad we kept him there. Duke was 1400lbs of orneriness and OWNED ME (I'm only 5'2", 125lbs). NOW - such an amazing connection and trust we have built in each other. Lastly, Abel has treated me and my family as family and NEVER as clients, just a genuinely great guy. My lessons were an hour but could always counted on at least 2; he wanted to make sure I was learning and growing with Duke. Highly recommend that you seek him out if you not only want a well trained horse, you also want to be a well trained rider. =) Thanks Abel!

I have a SSH gelding that I took to Platinum Horsemanship for some foundation training. My horse was not soft, did not flex and needed some desensitizing. Abel accomplished this for my horse and then some! My gelding is now calm, easily flexes, focuses on my cues when asking for a turn and stop. I barely have to lift a rein and can sit lightly back to get what I am asking. I also love that Abel had me out to work with my horse and learn the technique that he uses when training. I am excited to begin my adventures with my gelding! I am now confident going forward on my journey with my gelding. He is so very receptive and above all - SAFE for any direction I decide to go with him. Thank you Platinum Horsemanship!!
