We had a change of plans last Monday byte made it easy to cancel. I just went on the website and switched my registration around the registration popped up as soon as I log back in it is very simple.

I visited Lynchburg, VA with my 6- year old daughter. She was excited about staying at the hotel because she loved the way it looked, she said it was "fancy". Little did we know, our room wasn't so "fancy". When we walked down the hall, the smell was unpleasant. It smelled like cigarette smoke. As soon as we walked in our room, the smell was even stronger, even though it was a non-smoking room. The bed looked like someone just pulled the covers back on the bed without changing anything. There was something sitting in the toilet and the toilet would not work. The lamps were not working. I appreciate the lady that accommodated us and let us move to another room, but I do not want to deal with that as soon as I get to my hotel after a long day. We still enjoyed our short stay because we were able to go swimming, but it still was not the best experience.

Had a small corporate meeting that lasted a day. Courtney was great to work with in setting up the reservation. The facility was very nice and clean. Their renovations have improved the property tremendously. Would be happy to book there again.

It was probably a very nice facility in the past but now it is an older hotel with some deferred maintenance and worn surfaces and carpets. Rooms fair to average. No daily maid service so had to ask front desk for clean towels. No kleenax in room, beds had no top sheet which the front desk provided on our request, and no exhaust fan in bathroom. The toilets are rather low and could present a problem for older guests. On the other hand the meal and the service for the wedding rehearsal dinner was excellent. Sort of a mixed bag. Due to the pandemic the restaurant was closed and breakfast was only fair to passable. Once the restaurant can reopen things should get better.

Sorry, the front desk isn't very helpful. I strongly recommend you contact one of the hotel managers if you haven't already. If no luck after that, maybe a call to the local Police Dept. reporting the lost wallet might move things along.
