Nice place to take a stroll along the river! Weather was perfect - saw people kayaking, biking and walking! This was much needed relief after the strenuous hike up Monocacy hill Trail yesterday.

I recently picked up fishing. (catch and release only). The scenery is very appealing to the eyes, and with so many trails both paved and unpaved I believe that whomever is on the trail(s) would be content for hours absorbing the wildlife, and the views of the river with people kayaking with fishing poles made me want to get out there with them. All in all I enjoyed seeing different species of birds and hearing their songs while fishing from the shore of the river. I recommend whoever reads this to go check out the trails and enjoy the serenity of the Riverfront Park. Happy trails everyone..... 😎😎

As I was walking along the Schuylkill River Trail, there were kayakers drifting downstream, and rafters who were just coming out of the lazy river, and walking the equipment back to the parking area. It looked as if they had a little amphitheater built into the hillside, so you could have assorted performances within the park.
