Macy's is tremendously different then the store of long ago. The store in the Exton mall is skimpy in the women's department... and wasn't impressed overall. I tend to stop in whenever I'm in the mall, but lately I've been disappointed. I see other folks making purchases, so it's worth a visit. The website still has a great variety.
Advocate For YOU
This was one of the smallest Macy's I've been to. The selections were extremely small & the sizes looked like only for smaller people. I didn't see any plus sized dresses. People in the dressing room area did not social distance nor were many people wearing masks. The workers were seriously gard to find. They seemed to only be standing at their registers not offering help even though we were shopping for dresses. When my daughter saw a dress & asked the woman if it could be ordered in her size she acted like plus sized girls don't need to shop for dresses. It felt a bit degrading & of course we left. I certainly don't want to spend my money in a place where I'm left to feel like that. 😒 What I experienced was a lack of customer service, but we left & went to a different Macy's where the customer service was fabulous. There was lots of empty space in the store. The boys section was on a different floor, but if you blink you were through the boys section & into the girls. I was very disappointed with the selections & lack of customer service to say the least.

A couple months ago I worked with Elizabeth McDonough while looking at a mattress. She is very knowledgeable, genuine, and a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend seeking her out to help you when shopping in the furniture / mattress section of this Macy's
Me Me
Did not have much of anything, paid at 2 separate cashier's. Shoe dept and men's 1st shoe person was not very helpful and kept demanding I tell him how I planned to pay before he rang me up,was not sure how I wanted to pay until I saw my total. Took forever to checkout there. In men's department waited in line for 20 minutes. Only 2 people ahead of me. When my mom went to pay cashier guy Jerry snapped at her for putting her card in too soon, then pointed at her like she was a small child. Card reader said insert card. (Take a chill Jerry). The lady who was also ringing people up with him had just as many people to ring and she was just so pleasant. I normally get her. I don't think I will be returning to Macy's and am probably going to cancel my Macy's card. The place is just not a good experience for most of my trips there. Not just this holiday time.
