Tasty food and friendly staff. The are located on Lancaster Ave, with limited parking, and offer large and small dining areas. Open seven days a week with takeout and delivery offered. The menu has a large selection, with vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options. {Please verify the item is GF when ordering}. If you enjoy spicy foods, not all on the menu are, you'll enjoy Manam!

This was one of our favorite indian restaurants but not anymore. Quality of the food has taken a very bad hit. I felt something crunchy in my mouth and voila.. Naan served with pieces of clay.. Note to management: please have a better quality control practice in place and please bring back the old chef.. 🙏

We ordered food for an event and Manam staff delivered everything they promised, and the guests were incredibly happy with all aspects of this catered food. We started off with ginger tea. The tea was picked up at 2:30 pm, we had the tea between 4:00 pm and 5:00 pm, surprisingly there was tea left over and few guests tried the tea at 10:30 pm and it was still hot. Great tea provided in a superior quality insulated container. Appetizers included idli, medhu vada, baby corns and paneer chili. These apps were enjoyed by all, my daughters were happy that there was some baby corn salt and pepper left in the tray, so they could eat more the next day. For the dinner the vegetarian options chana masala and paneer tikka masala was enjoyed by all, the quantity was enough for all. We also had Manam goat curry and Kothamali chicken curry. Veg hakka noodles, pulao rice, naan provided the necessary carbs. The food was very tasty, and several guests stopped by to complement us for selecting Manam as the caterer and for selecting the best items possible. All food was delivered on time and in a hot insulated case, so the food tasted like it came out of the kitchen, even when it was served a few hours later. Right from the start, the experience was good, we liked how all the staff members were available to answer our questions and help us finalize the food items for the event. I think all our future events will have food from this place. Special call out to Priya and Ganesh for going the extra distance to make sure we have a great party.

Wish I have an option to choose 0.5 rating. Today order Fish 65 and Boneless Chicken Biryani, while ordering told the person Fish is for kids. She said sir it will be mild to medium spicy only so no problem. Surprisingly Fish 65 is full of chili flakes out of black chili with high amount of iodine dipped and not edible. Chicken Biryani rice not even tasty and chicken is full of salty. Did a big blunder by ordering food for tonight dinner with extreme disappointment. I will surely rethink suggesting this restaurant to any of my friends.

Questions & Answers

Do they have buffet for lunch?

ARUN PRASATH SIVANESAN | May 26, 2020
Manam Indian Cuisine (Owner) | May 27, 2020

Hi Arun, Considering the disadvantages of buffet (elaborated below), we took a conscious decision to not offer buffet 1. Food that is left on a burner is generally loses nutrients and other non beneficial outcomes (https://www.fda.gov/food/buy-store-serve-safe-food/serving-safe-buffets ) 2. Routine menu options provides limited varieties for our customers (we have close to 150 items in our menu) in a buffet we probably can only serve 18-25 varieties 3. Typically more than 30% of food in a buffet is thrown away, this is a colossal waste of food Further, since we server specialized menu like appam, kaldosa, rumali roti, etc. and most of our menu items lends itself well to fresh preparation. And another reason being we retain the taste and quality of our food only with the use of fresh produce and spices, so much so that some of our spices and coffee are imported every month. These are some of the reasons that deterred us not to start a buffet.
