Here several times over a weekend. The views are what you'd hope for. The staff, is excellent, conscientious, quick and caring. As for the food, on average, it's excellent. Their oysters are standard, great. The other options are from creative to expected. If you're in the area, this is an absolute stop.

Red Pepper soup w/crab meat was outstanding. Cobia was a bit fishy but the scallops were outstanding. Very nice waterfront ambiance. Will return!

The plus side Merrior Tasting room is the beautiful view and peaceful scenery. There is an abundance of seating in this large, waterfront space. A few more umbrellas may be nice for more shade options. On the downside, it was very to hard to hear what names are being called when food is put out to be picked up. Maybe a small megaphone or paging system would be helpful as we went up to the window numerous times looking for our food. Some food had been sitting there for a long time which tells me the customer didn't hear his/her name called. I was extremely disappointed in the Ceviche I ordered. It tasted ok but was very small and came with plain saltine crackers for $14.00. I guess you need to go in with the thought that it is a tasting room, not a full service restaurant, and that may alter expectations on the food. If it's a beautiful day out and you want to sit by the water and have a few oysters and drinks, this is the place for you.

Great oysters, excellent location and atmosphere. Can't beat the place. Beer, wine and seafood what else can you ask for.
