Great place to take dogs and kids! Brand new park for kids is inclusive and a great experience for everyone. My children love the in-ground trampoline and water feature. And the lower area is my favorite place for dogs as it's very clean, large enough for running and has great visitors. Also did some walking along the windy trails and hills.

My dog and I went for the first time today. It was nice, though I took one star away because of the narrow parking 🅿️ spots by the baseball fields and kids area. There's another parking lot somewhere..... I also took that star away due to the numerous dogs off-leash in the parking lot and paths where dogs were supposed to be on leashes. The dog park is huge, had grass and is appropriately fenced in. So, the people who chose to ignore the leash law did so strictly because of privilege and likely feeling the law doesn't apply to them for reasons that are stupid and probably even they don't believe. Other than that, this park has everything; tennis and basketball courts, baseball fields, lots of tables and benches, a creek, community garden, kids area, lots of grass and trees. I've lived in Portland my entire life and only came here for the first time today. I shouldn't have waited so long. I'd recommend going because it has something for everyone.

The dog parks here (both the grassy summer location and the Sandy winter location) are popping, with a bunch of dogs every time I’ve been there, and a lovely community of responsible dog owners. There’s a lovely community garden, trails and tracks, I love it enough to go most saturdays!

This was such a fun park! And part of it is newly renovated with a zip line! The patrol will come for you as soon as it is dark so be aware of the time. There is a workout circuit, skatepark, library, two baseball fields, a campsite, a disc golf course, a memorial, picnic tables and bathrooms, and a play park with merry go rounds, swings and the zip line. LOTS TO DO!

Pat Maginn | Aug 18, 2019
Rob Melton | Aug 17, 2021

No. The entire playground had been demolished and chain link fences surround the work area. The ball fields are still open, but the circular path is gone. Expected completion is 2023.

Yes, there is no one there monitoring gatherings. In my own experience, I've recently seen many people out and about on the grounds gathering in groups of up to 15 or so.

There are two spigots that I know of: one in the summer dog park area, right next to the tennis courts, and at least one in the community garden near the winter dog park (southeast corner of the park).
