I enjoy occasions in fine dining when they present themselves, and this was definitely an amazing experience in fine dining. I loved the ambience, the service, the wine selection, and of course, the food. Sporting a fusion of French and Italian cuisine, Newman's at 988 had a grand selection including a prix fixé menu. I went for the individual choices and had a four course meal (foie gras pasta, cream of chicken soup, prawn scampi, and a crème brûlée with half a bottle of a wonderful Moscato d'asti). I plan on enjoying at least one more meal with them before I leave the area next week!

Honestly I didn’t know what to expect coming into Newman’s but WOW, I’m so glad we came here! This was hands down one of the best meals I’ve had in my life! Also an incredible fine dining experience. We got the Chef Prix Fixe (four course meal) with wine pairing and it was to die for. The restaurant is in a historical house which was unique and it had a homey feel to it. The staff were all friendly and service was great. Must make a reservation here, perfect for date night at the beach! We will definitely be back!
