Friendly staff. They are very welcoming and non judgemental. I love how they ensure to clean and sanitize work stations before and after use. Everyone wore facemasks, gloves, hairnets when needed, apron when needed, and even arm sleeves were available. It shows in every thing they do how much they care and want to help everyone in need. 100% Genuine .

Marion Polk Food Share is our regional distribution center. They can provide you with a list of pantries in your area and also with required materials. Speaking for myself, I am the director of the Aumsville pantry, we do not require any of the items you mentioned. We have a one-time questionnaire but do not require proofs or ID.
Yes! One that i know of is Gleaners. Also a wonderful group called Salem Harvest!
Hi Noreen, We encourage people who have unopened, unexpired baby formula that they no longer need to donate it either to the Food Share or to their local pantry. At this point we're not encouraging people to buy it locally and donate it. For those that would like to support families with infants, we gladly accept donations of baby food, diapers and wipes. Thank you!
Yes. Call the front desk and they can direct you to the community garden department. The awesome folks that run this can direct you to your local gardens, seed/starter events and also how to get them directly from the food share. I am the coordinator for Aumsville Food Pantry and we have seeds and starts for our patrons provided by MPFS as well. There are classes called Seed To Supper starting soon also. The food share will have all of this info or you could check with your local food pantry.
No,but they can give you a list of them
Sorry about the inconvenience. Its an industrial area and the food share is a distribution center to food pantries all over Salem. There are places to get food boxes all over town, if you stop in at the food share the ladies in there can get you the info you need to visit one of the food pantries.
Not that I have heard of but I will ask tomorrow and get back to you.
