What can I say??? I went in Big lots of Ocean in Neptune, NJ and was helped out by 3 great Teammates Kat, Sue, & Nate…. Although I could not find what I was looking for I did leave satisfied and accomplished because of their great customer service… These 3 embodied the true meaning of Customer Relations…. Please Commemorate them for their great job.

Big lots is weird, it has a ton of items you'd never expect were all in one place. A lot of their regular prices are just okay, but their sale prices are usually outstanding. I like stocking up on healthy snacks and vegan baking ingredients for a fraction of the cost here. There frequently is large portions of product missing from shelves in this location, but I never come out empty handed. And every single one of the staff I've encountered here has been exceptionally friendly.

We checked out this Big Lots before one of our kids went back to college, so maybe that situation may affect their stock. They have a lot of good things, but everything seemed picked over (is that me, or is that standard in Big Lots stores?). She found some interesting things from the kitchenware area, so that was nice. The store is well lit, rather low-key on decorating, and it was easy to find things in their departments. Overall, I would check this store out if I was in the area, but wouldn't go out of my way.
