I'm so disappointed and beyond frustrated with what I thought was a world class diabetes center. It has been a hassle to get my insulin with my doctor. Every three months I have to call the office several times and then following up with my insurance. and any diabetic knows how difficult getting supplies is, not to mention the cost. and I have great insurance as a teacher. There was one point I called everyday for two weeks to get them to process paperwork and submit my correct prescription. Then the pharmacist told me the Dr. wrote the wrong prescription which could of hurt me bc she known my history for years now. You know how stressful it is to be down to your last few drops of insulin bc they can't complete paperwork timely. Do NOT put yourself through this pain, we diabetics have enough daily.

Dr Zahr is cold and doesn't care about her patients. Her answer is lap band instead of actually figuring out what is wrong. Uses 7 month old lab tests to determine nothing is wrong? I've been seeing an endocrinologist for 20 year for insulin resistance to Hoshimotos. UCSF to Stanford and never felt so worthless as a person. As someone who is dealing with handful of autoimmune diseases and watches her intake for 20 years, it's insulting. Don't waste your time with Dr Zahr unless you like lazy and cold doctors.

They have amazing doctors/providers. They can not seem to manage making apointments. They do not manage mychart well. The logistics for making appointments are a nightmare. So good luck seeing the amazing people of this clinic. They do not call when they say they will. So call, call, call and call again. lesson learned. To answer you below. I have called to speak to the office manage and no call back for days. It seems you respond much quicker to this public review than me making a call.
