I only gave one star because I had to,to be heard!!where do I start ? This hospital is disgusting from emergency waiting room to the room my husband was placed in !!! Trash and dirty needles on the floor!!Full trash and dirty soiled linen container! Rude short RNs! That's just the start No pillows for patients, No chair in my husband's room for me to sit with him, No table for our belongings,no cafeteria or place to purchase food!(I was here for 8 hrs with my husband pregnant and had no way to eat) They denied me a heated blanket while I wait and refused to turn the heat in his room on.!!!! I will never return to this trashcan of a hospital !! This place is spreading disease not curing!!!!

I don't doubt that sometimes the wait times are very long, and sometimes people have negative experiences, but I'm really grateful for my positive experience. Everyone was super nice, I was in my treatment room in under 10 minutes from arriving (waiting room for about 2-3 minutes, then 3-5 minutes of intake, then taken to my room), and then I waited about half an hour before the doctor saw me, which I thought was very reasonable at 1:45 AM for a relatively low-priority issue. The doctor was very thorough and helped me more than expected, and I feel extremely well taken care of. It doesn't always go that way, and I'm really grateful that everyone here was kind, thorough, and supportive, and that my issue was quickly and effectively resolved (despite initially looking like there was nothing there -- taking the time to look even more carefully allowed it to be resolved, which is a huge relief, and not every doctor would have taken the time).

I was in urgent care send over to emergency because my doctor said i need IV fluids right away and oxygen . I then waited over 5 hours with no fluids not even water to drink and to weak to walk to my car. Then called up looked at me and said sit down your next why even call my name then. I feel discriminate as a brown and hijabi everytime i asked anything they just told me to sit and wait. But i can't breath and i am stuck as i was wheel over by my doctor and my car is over at urgent care

I had a congestive heart failure episode, they were alerted ahead of time I would be showing up. Kaiser has a great congestive heart failure team in ER.. ran tests, had to spend the night in hospital being checked closely through out the night. Everyone cared for my safety and assured me I was going to be all right. Discharged from hospital late in the afternoon next day. I highly recommend both ER and 3rd floor north staffing awesome. Update.. 11/20/19 Back to ER Mild case of Congestive heart failure 11 lbs gained in less than 2 days. Dry coughing, dry heaves, painful collarbone where fracture is...ER was alerted ahead by advice nurse in Cardiology Mt. Talbert Sunnyside. Couldn't believe all the sick people waiting in ER. Bad! Was given an Lasix's IV man quick action...fluid removed rapidly. Went home 4 hrs later.. So, happy to leave ER. 👍
