Vaughan's Irish cream has single handedly convinced me to make the 2 hour drive. The food is a tad bland, though I suppose that would be period accurate. It is still my favorite pub style bar. The service is hit or miss unfortunately. Saturday night we had a waitress who was incredible, but my waiter on Sunday was terrible. We placed an order for the jar of the Irish Cream to take some home, ate for 1-1.5 hours, was told it would be another 20 min, then after 20 min, was told that they wouldn't be able to make it. Sir, you had nearly 2 hours to put in that order and get a definitive from the kitchen staff. Instead, you wasted my time. He did refund me, but on a $150 bill, I gave him $200. The large order of cream is $42 plus tax and he gave me a $50 back. So that means he walked away with a $45+ tip on a now $100 bill. How generous. Anyway, long and short, go for drinks, the Irish cream, and decent food. But good luck with the service.

Tsukasa Hiiragi

Discovered this small Irish pub after attending connecticon and ordered the curry fries for a starter, cod and chips and the Guinness infused brownie washed down with a nice cold Guinness. The curry chips was so good, the chips had a nice crunchy bite with a delicious curry sauce that I just had to get an extra side. The cod and chips was actually quite decent with a nice soft tender fish, and the dessert was so good it was gone before I could even take a photo.

Oh my gosh. Best buffalo cauliflower that I've ever had. I remember this place being phenomenal but couldn't remember much about the menu. Ventured out for their doggy drink hour and was NOT disappointed. Might even become a regular. 10/10 fresh yummy yummy food.

Vaughan's Public House is a great place to go with family or friends. The food is great, the service is friendly and helpful, and the broad selection of beer on tap is impressive. It can get a bit noisy, but that is to be expected when you get a lot of people together enjoying themselves.
