Does anyone know if the improvements that are now being made will include a quicker and safer way to get from one platform to the other (since it's never really clear which side you need to be on)? Currently, you would have to RUN all the way out to Meridian and back to get to the other side, and hope you can do it quickly enough to catch the train. Only 3 stars due to this issue. UPDATE: Found my own answer. Here is the very unfortunate statement from Sound Transit: Why is a pedestrian bridge across the railroad tracks not included in this project? "Sound Transit studied building pedestrian bridges across the railroad tracks and over 5th St NW. Only one pedestrian bridge is affordable within the scope of this project. A pedestrian bridge will be built over 5th St NW connecting directly to the garage, which is expected to get significantly more use than a bridge over the tracks. Sound Transit may consider other funding sources to build a bridge over the tracks in the future." Please help convey to Sound Transit that this is indeed a serious issue that warrants aggressive fund-raising!!!

Puyallup is a safe, and quiet environment with great security and transit options of you reside around the South Hill residence. You can use transit shuttle 402 to get around but there's limited availability in the evenings and over the weekend!
At The Crossing Productions
On time Sounder service, good amounts of space and benches, roofs to be under during rainy times which are common in Western Washington. Station agents are very helpful and friendly. Also a good spot for train watching!

Be prepared to park many blocks away after 6:00 am. Usually clean here with foot patrol security.

There is a kiosk at the station
No light rail from Puyallup. The Sounder train will take you to the King St. Station in Seattle.
The sounder only runs on Monday-Friday
Platform 2
They should have special trains for any sports events but i would verify with sound transit to make.sure
Powerhouse Restaurant and Brewery: uncertain if they have tea, but the food is good and so is the beer. My wife and I really enjoy going there, and it's an easy walk from the train station.
You will need to go to Tacoma, at the Amtrak ticket station you can go to Portland. Tacoma Station Relocated Until Further Notice Until further notice, Amtrak trains will serve the Tacoma station located at 1001 Puyallup Avenue, Tacoma, WA 98421. Service at the new Tacoma Dome station will commence on a date to be announced.
Does anyone know how to apply for a parking pass/permit at the Puyallup Station? I don't see anything on the website and Sound Transit hasn't responded to my email. I'd prefer to pay for parking than drive to the Red Lot to take a bus to take a train to Seattle. 4+ hours a day commute time is tough. Anything to shorten it would help.
