We had our teen girls ride here, they both have ridden horses before and one is very experienced and has her own horses. They had a great time and felt well prepared and informed by the staff!! The horses offered to them based on their experience was perfect! The price was great as well for an hour ride! The girls want to go again!! Just remember these are animals with minds of their own and personalities!

This was our first time riding horses, and I was a bit nervous with how my nine and twelve year olds would do. The instructor was wonderful and thorough. They have you mount on the horses safely (and discount safely). She provided clear explanations, and instructions on how to pull the horses back or keep them going. My daughter was the youngest person in our group, and the lead instructors lead her horse on our way to the beach and on our way back. She did amazing! There was a great deal of attention to detail, and they matched the horses to the individual’s needs. There were two instructors who led our group, and they communicated with an ear piece. One stayed in the front of the group, and the other one to the side of the group. On our way back, we saw another group with three three horses without their riders! Our lead instructor tried to offer her assistance. After witnessing the other group, and some of their riders walking on foot— we’re so glad we went with this company! The girls and I had a wonderful time. I HIGHLY recommend them, and can’t wait to ride again the next time we’re in Long Beach.

This was my first time riding on a horse and I am so happy I choose West Coast Horse Rides! My experience was amazing! When I got there you could tell how experience all the guides were and how everything was organized. I had such an incredible time and will definitely be back for another ride if I'm in the area again.

An amazing experience. My son’s first time riding a horse. We called at 9:45 and got a reservation for the 2:30 ride. From start to finish the staff was professional, friendly, and helpful. They made sure that they got a picture of each guest individually and each group then at the end of the ride either texted or airdropped them to you so everyone had a photo of their ride.
