we stayed at The D for my daughter's wedding weekend.. All I can say is WOW and thank you... We had a wonderful weekend.. the majority of our guests arrived at the same time. the front desk had everyone checked in and in their rooms in no time.. They were helpful with restaurant reservations and any and all questions.. Hannah was absolutely wonderful....

Fantastic hotel for a reasonable price. What a lovely place. The staff is friendly and helpful, everything is clean and well-maintained. I couldn't be happier with my experience here! Edit to add: Since writing this review, I have stayed at several other area hotels. I cannot stress enough how fantastic this hotel is, even moreso by comparison. In terms of customer service, they win hands down. Not that I need a lot, but when I do, they're always there, ready to help. In terms of bang for your buck, they've got it with the quality of the rooms, the included breakfast, all the other little things that you take for granted until they're not available.

The hotel property is very nice. The breakfast is great- fresh food and many choices. The rooms are large and comfortable. The reason for the low rating is the terrible staff. The front desk called my room at 4:30 AM and woke me up to tell me my son was on the lobby and had arrived. My son was sleeping in our room! When I asked about it later that day, the man said that this person had our room number so he called us to see if we were waiting for him. I asked if he checked his name or his parents’ names before ringing a guest’s room. He said he had not. I was woken up because of incompetence. When I spoke to the manager the next day he was very nonchalant. He did admit that his staff needed to be trained better. His attitude was not very apologetic. Also- I was there for 2 nights and my room was never cleaned. When I asked they said they only clean upon request. I wish I had known that I had to request. That should be told to guests at check in. I asked why I wasn’t told and they said that most guests just know that. How can I know if I’m not told. The staff is poor with terrible communication with guests. Although it’s a very nice hotel, because the staff is so awful, I would not go back nor would I recommend it.

This hotel was wonderful. Room was clean, beds were comfy and very spacious. Hotel staff were incredibly helpful. Hot tub and pool were immaculate. And the breakfast was the best hotel breakfast we have ever had! All in all, wonderful experience. Oh and the complimentary water bottles at the front desk were a very nice touch.
