The experience visiting Nurtured by Nature was absolutely priceless and worth the time and money. What impressed me the most was this wasnβt a zoo at all. They go above beyond in every circumstance possible to care for the animals above the people visiting. We were warned at multiple times that the animals will always come first and this may me cutting time short or less interaction. There was no point I felt like it was being cut off however the staff paid special attention to the animals at all times and were an incredible wealth of knowledge.

This was literally the best experience of my life. I cannot say enough good things. The staff truly care about the animals and it shows. They're very educated and share so much information. I honestly cried because I was so excited to swim with my favorite animal that, until today, I was only able to experience from afar. This is worth every single dollar!

What an amazing, immersive, and interactive adventure! Such knowledgable and passionate staff with an awesome assortment of rescued animals so see and learn about first-hand! Learn the story of how they were rescued, how they are deeply and fondly cared for, and what you can do to make the world a better place for them :) all while getting plenty of love from a romp of playful otters, feeding peanuts to gentle pacas, petting friendly porcupines, and leaping around with lemurs. AND SO MUCH MORE!! We cannot wait to come back again just to feel those adorable little otter paws grasping our fingers πππ

If you love otters and other animals, this is the place to go. Not sure of anywhere else you can get in a swimming pool with real otters.

Bring your own towel and mask even if you're vaccinated. And know the road to Nurtured by Nature gets super narrow towards the end and only one vehicle can fit on it. Careful cause there are some curves that are hard to see past.
You'll definitely have to go through the website, but they fill up incredibly fast for the entire year, and the chances of you getting a specific date--especially over a holiday weekend--are extremely small. According to their facebook page (definitely recommend you follow it fir announcements of cancellations and openings), the website has been crashing lately due to heavy traffic. They recommend that you just keep checking back to see if there happenes to be a cancellation, but you'll have to pounce on it immediately, if you're lucky to come across one.
