Update: I continued to have serious problems with the cellphone service provider - T Mobile - so I ended up dropping them. They have recently started sending solicitations to my late husband. There is no way I will ever do business with them again. I was having a problem with the billing department of my cell phone provider informing me that I owed money I did not owe. A $70 per month plan I requested became a $98 per month plan and a couple of weeks later my service was unexpectedly disconnected due to "non-payment" of $160 (which I still do not understand was for). I paid the $160 to get my service back up and in a text about a week later, I was told my next months bill would be over $300. The BBB made it very easy for me to file my complaint and they were prompt in contacting the business I was having trouble with. I was given a $60 credit on my bill and hopefully the only amount I will be charged from now on will be $70 per month. Many thanks to the BBB.

I greatly appreciate the BBB assisting me with my situation. They were quick in handling the matter. The business I was having an issue with kept me running in circles for four months. They would hardly respond to me and when they did, they repeatedly refused to send me the documents I had requested. When the BBB stepped in, the business responded immediately to resolve the situation. They also "suddenly found an error" and refunded me half of my money. I'm sure that this business is doing the same to other individuals. I hope the BBB keeps an eye on them.

My problem was that my cell service provider was not willing to remove equipment charges that belonged to another customer claiming they did not have the proper email authorization. The cell service provider had moved some of the equipment charges but not all of them. I was unable to make any headway with the company. Finally I reached out to the BBB and within a few days I was contacted by the cell service company and they removed the charges. I was very impressed with the fast, professional service I received from BBB Northwest. They kept me informed and got straight to the heart of the matter bringing it to a speedy conclusion.

Go to bbb.org. it's super easy to check ratings and look up other companies. 😊
You can look up businesses online at bbb.org at any time! Don't forget to use the location field to help narrow down the search if you know where you are looking.
File a complaint (there is an online form to complete) about the business. Be sure to talk about your reasons why to support your claim and your documents/backup proof. The BBB is very quick with finding out the truth or getting a solution for your complaint. Good luck and be sure to reply when you are contacted by the BBB.

Hi Cristy. I don't work for the BBB. I'm a consumer who filed a complaint with them and was very satisfied with the results. The one thing I can suggest you do is to Google the company name for complaints, scams and reviews. Also, mainly view the company by phone number, website or location to find out if the BBB has any type of information on there including reviews. You will most likely get an answer after doing all these things.
Generally they are a rip off. If you do try one take the contract to a lawyer to review before signing anything.
Hi Jennifer. Unfortunately BBB only helps with consumer reports. I would try to contact the L&I again to help you with this matter. If you don't have any luck, try the Washington Attorney General.
Just start a claim with BBB, but make sure you put all of the information that you have available about your case. If they need more information, they will contact you so you can submit the ingormation.
You don't
