This place was so cool. Im not a crystal guy haha, but the wife picked up several things things. She was impressed by the unique selection, I was surprised by the fair prices considering this is a tourist area.

Small little shop selling miner trays with gems in the dirt. Believe it’s about $10.00 and there are washing stations out front.

This is a fantastic gem and mineral store to visit. It is small in size but has lots of wonderful pieces to purchase at reasonable prices and the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable.

Hello RR and Amy. Amy you are right we are not a club, but a retail store in the State Park in Old Town. We do group panning and lectures for groups by appointment. The best thing to do is come by the store and check it out. Pat

The same as required for all businesses. Social distancing as required, proper cleaning of touch surfaces and hand sanitizer is available. We are not over the top enforcement officers though.

Are these crystals ethically sourced?

We have been in business for over 40 years, over that period of time we have come to be friends as well as customers to many miners who personally collect a lot of the crystals that we sell. The fact is that most of the crystals are mined in small villages or in the middle of nowhere. What you might be referring to is the way diamonds are mined. This type of mining is done by huge operations employing thousands of people. Small time miners are very respectful of the environment and often employee locals at fair market wages. I hope this answers your question. Pat Owner

I have a geode that I need to have cut in half. Can you cut this for me?

I believe they do do that. U can also buy bags of geodes there & they will cut them open for u. I think they come in either 3 or 5 geodes to a bag. Great place !!

Hi We can slab materials 8" or smaller. My blade is only 18". It would be $5.00 per slice. Pat
