I thought pretty long about posting this review. On December 4th 2020 I went to AAR guns to pickup a AR lower receiver FFL transfer I ordered. To start of the experience I arrived at the store around 10:15am to find a closed sign and a locked door. Sign on the door says hours are 10am - 6pm Thought to myself, alright things happen that can make people a little late. Went to run some other errands. Retuned about 45 minutes later to find the store was still closed. I waited in my car for a bit. Then walked in to the equipment rental place next door. Asked if they knew if the gun store was going to open today. She was very nice, simply said “ I noticed Chris isn’t here” And she didn’t know how to get ahold of him. I returned to my vehicle and waited probably another 10 minutes. And the lady from the rental place ran out to tell me Chris had just showed up. I said thank you. It was probably another 10 minutes before Chris opened the door. To be fair the first thing out of my mouth to Chris was “good afternoon” probably not the best way to start off. but I was a that point a bit irritated. I told Chris my name what I had shipped to the store and where it came from. He almost immediately said I don’t have anything that came in. And he would have to go to the post office and look for it. I told Chris it had shipped UPS. He said “yeah it’s been weird having things shipped right now” there were a couple other people in the store so I took a step back and let them take care of their business. While I was finding the delivery confirmation. Said delivered Monday, ID verified, and signed for. I think Chris realized blowing me off as unimportant wasn’t going to get me to go away. Then... all of the sudden my package was found. To be fair again. I said exactly that to Chris! He responded with “the attitude doesn’t help” well that’s fair of him to say that. I held back from saying... A good way to avoid a customer with a bad attitude is show up on time to run a business. Second thing that might help is to not be so dismissive. Seemingly because you didn’t want to go find a package. But I kept quite and stuck to our business. Sure, it wasn’t a big dollar sale. I needed a FFL holder to receive a order and do the background check. I have always tried to spend money local. Even if it costs a little more. Sadly I will not be returning to AAR guns for anything in the future. There plenty of gun shops nowadays. Maybe one of them would like my business.

Went in for some ammo, they were out of stock (completely understandable) and saw a rifle that was labeled a Bren 2 on the shelf. Asked to look at it and it was actually a Bren s1 - which is a huge difference. Questionable ethics by labeling this firearm wrong hoping some poor unknowing soul will purchase it thinking he just bought a new Bren 2. Priced at over $1750 which is in line with how much a Bren 2 should cost.

They will transfer multiple lowers for the price of 1. I try to do all my transfers here and plan on purchasing from them directly soon. Good store with good policies.
