I visited Milo McIver to compete in the 2022 Beaver State Fling disc golf tournament. The park is huge. There is camping, fishing, facilities, and a lot of parking. The disc golf courses were amazing. I'm definitely gonna explore this place in more detail next time!

Equestrian trails here are perfect: laid back riding, some sturdy obstacles ranging from very easy to moderately advanced. My newer rescue horse was perfectly challenged on the bat loop (obstacle loop), we got a very good ride in following the long loop! Handful of hikers and dogs we ran into, one hiker very inexperienced around horses we were glad we have level headed horses!

Milo McIver is a hidden gem in Oregon's east foothills. The part is enormous and has several things for everyone! The park is beautiful and kept up to date and clean, the trails are well maintained, the parking lots and signs are clearly marked and nothing appears to be out of date or in need of upgrade. I'd you've never visited, you really should.

Beautiful state park. Awesome day area and small and quite over night area. The dam is great to walk to and a perfect spot for fishing and boating. A hidden gem really and definitely will be returning.

Is this a good place for little kids (age 7) to wade in the water?

Yes it is! It's a little rocky so bring water shoes for sensitive feet, but there's many spots you can wade. Just go for a walk along one of the river trails and you'll find beautiful spots all over!

Do they have fire pits or barbecues to cook food
