We loved Ice Skating for the first time at UTC ICE. We rented a seal and had a blast pushing each other on the seal π¦ & spinning out of control. The seal was a great starting tool to gain balance too. I enjoyed watching my daughter and her friend skating around the ice. UTC ICE had safety equipment such as helmets which were great for the kiddos. Five stars great place and fair prices.

My daughter fell and had a head concussion during one of the lessons, there were about 20 kids with one teacher. My daughter was lying on the ice holding her head for some time and the teacher didn't even noticed it. No one cared to help me finding ice even though my daughter hit her head badly and her eye was getting swollen. I had to keep begging for ice till finally someone showed up with it. I asked one of the girls from the office where should I report the incident, she said: "send a message to the email that is on our website" then completelly ignored what was happening to us. They don't have a plan for emergencies, your kids are at their own risk. I sent a message to utc ice and they didn't respond. Negligent, irresponsible and with a total lack of consideration. They just care about charging you monthly.

My daughter loves skating here. It has a pretty good sized rink. They have little blue whales that help people who don't know how to skate well. She loves that it's in the mall and she can go shopping afterwards and get something to eat.

There is public skating every day, but the hours differ depending on the day so you have to check their schedule on the UTC ice website.
For how long
The seal rentals are $15/hour
5$ I believe
Yes! :)

Its still open, you have to register before going as they only have limited spaces to not be overcrowded
Not for the public but they are holding hockey clinics with social distancing.
No idea, but UTC is a warmer rink.
They don't allow either unless you have a private lesson.
