I was visiting Olympia earlier this summer and was happy to discover the Olympia Gear Exchange as I wandered around downtown. Great selection of new and vintage gear at very reasonable prices. Jared was great - friendly, helpful, and knowledgable. I bought several things and am very happy with my purchases. Next time I'm in Olympia, it'll be one of my first stops.

Great selection of outdoor gear and brands. Found a good selection of women's gear and scored a great pair of NRS paddling pants and top. Jared, the manager, was friendly and super helpful. Highly recommend for those looking for quality gear at a good price. 👍

Amazing little shop. The west has an amazing history of the outdoors and walking into a store like this is like a time capsule. I'd imagine that the community is pretty active in the outdoors and I'd say that the gear selection shows it. There wasn't much for me to look at besides the really old items. The newer stuff or good stuff had probably been poached. I would come here again to look around.

- We require face masks - 2 hand sanitizing stations in the store - Changing room is wiped down after every use - All clothing items tried on and not bought are set aside for 2-3 days before they are put back on the floor
I'm pretty sure they do not rent, purchase used/second hand goods.
I've also never seen golf equipment and it doesn't quite seem like the place that would carry it - oge has REI type products. But it wouldn't hurt to check, the staff is super helpful and friendly and will pick up the phone
I seen a couple pairs of snow shoes
We do take in skis here, but only downhill skis. And all the items are put on consignment. So we if took in your items here and they sold you'd have two payment options. In-store credit would get you 60% of the sales price back or you can request a check that would get you 40% of the sales price back.
