This company deserves 10 stars! My freezer went out in the middle of the night and I called them first thing. Because I had a lot of food that was about to spoil, they rescheduled another appointment so the could come out and fix my freezer before I lost about $500 worth of meat and other food. Definitely appreciate this company!

I hired Works Again because they were very courteous and provided good communication. The only hickup was their tech ran about an hour late. I know there's more than one service call, but this was inconvenient for my schedule. Other than that, we received very good repair services.

Well our refirgerator must have had s short circuit or something when the power went out in our neighborhood. When the power came on it didn't work right so we contacted Appliance Gurus to diagnose the problem and they're connected to Worksagain appliance repair. Within a day we got our fridge fixed and working like new again. Thanks Works Again

The average lifespan of a refrigerator, in other words, reliability, varies to a great degree by manufacturer and type of refrigerator. Industry repair data show that (typically) refrigerators can last from 12-18 years with 14 being the overall average. It appears that the more accessories a refrigerator has (much like cars) such as an ice makers, etc. the shorter the cycle between repairs. The most reliable brands appear to be Maytag, Whirlpool and Kenmore. It appears there is some evidence about the Maytag repairman being bored.
If the dishes on your upper rack are getting clean, but the bottom rack is not, it’s likely that your pump is working properly. The culprit may be a clogged lower washer arm (the spinning arm that shoots out the water spray from the bottom) and/or the spinning mechanism is not working leaving the water jets coming from the lower arm to just clean some dishes, but not all. You can remove the lower washer arm and make sure the holes are not clogged, also check the water inlet filter to make sure it’s not too clogged with any food or detergent (if you use a powder detergent) debris that may cause intermittent clogging. Then run a rinse cycle to see if the full water spray and spinning action are working properly. If the recommend the steps above do not work, just call and let us know if we need to come out and help.
For most appliance repair companies, just to have a technician drive out to your location to figure out what is causing the problem with your appliance is typically a $119.99 service fee. Without some type of diagnosis to determine the problem it's nearly impossible to give you a cost estimate for repairs. However, as we began to get busier and our customers were experiencing longer wait times, we launched a new Division called Appliance Gurus (ApplianceGurus.net) where we can have one of our Certified Appliance Technicians do a Video Call appointment to diagnose the problem, with faster response times, better convenience and a 50% savings off the cost to roll a truck and technician to their house. Many customers have really appreciated the efficiency and convenience of this service.
According to Consumer Reports, the average lifespan of a dishwasher is 10 years. Some models may last up to 15 years or more, this is not typical. If you're dishwasher is not cleaning properly due to spotting, incomplete rinsing, or debris or soap is left on the dishes, AND it it less than 10 years old, it could very well be worth having your dishwasher repaired to squeeze out two to five more years of life out of your unit. Before considering a full replacement of your ice maker unit, consider the several possible cause for a refrigerator ice maker to stop working, here are a few of the most common and possible solutions: 1) The control arm is out of positionand causing the ice maker to act like it's on "pause" because it thinks the ice tray is full. Try to adjust the control arm. 2) The water line inlet valve or filter is clogged. Kenmore refrigerators have the inlet valve typically located behind the refrigerator. Unplug the refrigerator and turn off the valve’s water supply. Check to see if the screen, or filter, is plugged with debris. If so, clear the debris and reinstall. 3) If the above items are not the cause, then the problem could be a frozen water line. In this case, If you locate a frozen line, unplug the refrigerator and defrost the line with a hair dryer. Listen to see if the water flows after turning back on, if not call WorksAgain at 503-542-5151 for service.
According to Consumer Reports studies, the average lifespan for a washer or dryer is about 10 years. This can vary by up to 3-4 years based on the quality of the manufactuing as well as how the machines were used during the period of ownership. If your washer or dryer is nearing the 10-year mark, and the machine(s) breaks down, it may be time for a replacement. However, it may be worth repairing if the repair cost is less than half the replacement cost and th repair is likely to last another two to three years (minimum).
