I ordered the bolonagese. The sauce was great but wow was the rigatoni over cooked. As in sticky and gummy. Not al dente at all. Our waiter was okay but obviously overworked so didn’t want to wait another 20 minutes for replacement. Will not eat there again.

La Bella Vita Ristorante is located in the beautiful resort, Sycamore, that overlooks Lake George in Bolton. Parking is free and when the weather is nice, you can eat outside. Even in the winter, they had a heated, covered patio available. The restaurant is so beautiful. It’s worth coming just for the views. The prices are typical of NYC prices.

Cane here for our anniversary dinner. Service and food impeccable. Staff very attentive. Salmon was fresh and well prepared. Prices reasonable. Great atmosphere. Will definitely be back!

I had seen some low reviews of this place so I was concerned it would be “hotel restaurant” quality. It was ok because we were really going for the ambiance and view. I was so wrong. The food was amazing. All of the meat was clearly cooked by very skilled chefs. The filet was a perfect rare, the short rib almost disintegrated, and the chicken saltimbocca was the best I’ve ever had. Perfect view, and perfect service. You’ll love it.
