Where do I begin. The food is atrocious. I am buying my own groceries and cooking in my room. Now I cannot go grocery shopping because the parking lot is always full. If I lose my parking space it will not be there when I return. I then have to park in the back of the building and walk clear around with groceries in hand. I am not the only one that has an issue with the quality of the food. Mostly it is the preparation. The Chef here and the meal selection is very bad. How many older people can eat tomato type dishes at night. My next door neighbor is a diabetic and the meals are not prepared well enough for her to eat just vegetables and protein. The meats are very dry and tasteless. Always the same. Employees and Management are top dollar. Very helpful. Back patio area has not ever been upgraded. Very unappealing.

Glenmoore is a beautiful and safe retirement home. My mom lived there and absolutely loved her accommodation. The entire staff was always immensely helpful and caring providing fantastic support not only to me but my mom as well. I would not hesitate to recommend it for any parent and felt much more comfortable knowing my mom was living there.

Glenmoore is a beautiful residence within a quiet neighborhood. The decor is warm and inviting, as are the staff members. They offer numerous floor plans, with a great number of activity areas one could escape to, all within their building. We enjoyed lunch while there, and were surprised they offered not only a main course but also several lighter choices daily if a resident might so desire. My husband and I were very impressed, and are strongly considering Glenmoore for our eventual downsizing move. Ask for assistant managers Rick and Rachelle-they are a lovely couple.

As a staff member of Hawthorn Senior Living for over for years, I have seen many, many ways in which our company leadership shows their heart and commitment to making life great for both our dear residents and loving staff. Here at Glenmoore we have dedicated, hard-working chefs and culinary support, caring housekeepers that make everything shine, a bus driver who goes above and beyond, and a loving activity coordinator that cheers everyone on and makes sure we have plenty of fun. Our maintenance technician dutifully keeps our beautiful community in proud, working order and will crack you up while he does it. Our high school and college students fit in serving meals after school and on the weekends and take great pleasure in getting to know our residents, learning their preferences and hearing their jokes and stories. We all enjoy that! As part of the live-in management team here at Glenmoore, it is with great joy and humility that we get to watch all these blessings in action and see how our residents thrive, engage, make new friends, pick up old and new hobbies, look out for one another, benefit from the services and meals, and simply enjoy living together in community! Life is truly “better together” - especially here at Glenmoore! ♥️
