Great place, clean and comfortable. Beautiful view from room. Good hot breakfast and all staff was very friendly and accommodating. I stayed a few nights and it was nice to have variety / change in offerings the second morning! Coffee is always very good and it is nice to have fresh milk or cream to use instead of the non dairy creamers. Thanks.

In the off season it is hard to find a pet friendly handicap room. On a search it sent me to the Baseball Hotel Richfield Springs which had both available. The room was very large and right next to the ramp in so it was perfect for a wheel chair. I had a great meal and never thought the evening would work out so well. I thank the owners for helping me with the dog and parking so close to the ramp. I will always return to this location when in the area.

The hotel itself isn't so bad, it's uniquely charming. But with taxes we paid $185 a night. As others have said, the price should be half that at best. The AC hardly worked and the walls are thin. Breakfast was a nice touch but tasted off. My friend got food poisoning 20 minutes after eating and got really sick in the car on the way to Cooperstown. We avoided breakfast the following morning. If you're looking for a "different" experience, this place is it, but realistically it should be around $80 a night for what you get. They are clearly taking advantage of the tourists that can't find rooms closer to Cooperstown. In response to the owner comment below...what about the food poisoning?

This was a lovely bed and breakfast for our weekend in Cooperstown. If I come back, I will probably stay here again! Like most B&Bs, each room in the building is different from the others as far as layout and decor goes. Everything had a cozy feel (and maybe more importantly had working heat!). The hotel was not packed during our winter excursion, so we did not bump into that many other guests. The Inn has a social room with board games, a television, and a chess/checkers/backgammon table. They put coffee, tea, and hot coca out until late in the night as well. The breakfast itself was satisfying. The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. All in all, a grade A experience!
