I get it. The rare ice storms that converge on Salem However, I don't live in a rural area. I live in an area accross from Morningside park and we are going on day 8 with no idea how many more days. Our powerlines are underground. Our neighbors have power. 11 houses in our lane does not. We are surrounded by homes with power. We are the newest built homes. That tells me the infrastructure is failing but than U.S.A. has a D+ grade as in our power grids. We are not superior by no means. We are the worse developed country in the world so why would all this power problems be a surprise? I want power back on but I am grateful to be the 10% knowing 90% helps me live a somewhat normal day to day. Stores are open. Gas stations, fast food joints so yes it could be 90% worse for a D+ grade. .

Had a broken power header because of the ice storm, northern electric came and fixed it immediately, the power has been on in my neighborhood two days now and I still can’t get you guys to come reconnect a simple thing that takes less than 5 minutes. Saw a crew on mill street last night two blocks away, told them they said they’d come fix it last night and they didn’t. Called this morning and begged and still nothing. Card got declined at the hotel, got a 4 year old whose sick, and your company knows this. Trash company.

My power is out since Friday evening. It is Tuesday and they do not have an ETA. That is a fail so epic that my whole family will never forget. We got .5 inches of freezing rain... What would happen in a real disaster? I grew up in Michigan and the power was never out for a whole day. PGE expects a week without power in the US, in the 21st century, is acceptable? My kids are cold, and no one is out working! Not one truck. 😡🥶
