Nice online system for reserving a rental mountain bike. Shop always answered when I called and were knowledgeable about the models and the rental process. Super rad bikes - the Yeti SBT 140 (!) -- I'd never be able to own one of those (well, I'd be too nervous to own a bike that spendy!) I rented it for my 12 year old son's Milepost 35 mountain biking camp where a full suspension bike was advised. They locked the bikes in a shed at night -- but I didn't find that out until arrival and was super worried about theft up until then. Would be nice if Fat Tire could offer some sort of insurance policy for theft since I called my homeowner's (2% of house value deduction so not useful), looked into trip insurance (needed to be 100 miles from my home), etc. Couldn't find anything -- and I would've been willing to pay for it for peace of mind. It was a week long rental -- I can see for day rentals the bike will never be outta sight, so not an issue. So maybe my situation is more unique.

These guys of Hood River Bicycles are awesome. The Bike that I rented was really nice and in good shape. When I arrived to the store they were ready to help and having the reservation made things easier and faster. The shuttle was really good too and when I returned a cold beer was waiting for me. And the trails in Post Canyon are INCREDIBLE! Thank you so much HRB!😃😁
