Excellent addition to Amsterdam. It's nice to have something that can make you feel proud of where you live or are from. The cafe and outdoor concerts are nice as well. I wish people would stop being so awful by vandalizing the lights and property.

So stunning. Of all the times I been in Amsterdam I never stopped and walked Over the bridge till today. And I am so glad I did the art and view was so beautiful!

Beautiful little place to walk around in--the walking bridge, waterfront, and playground are all kept up very well. I took off a star though because while there are plenty of park benches, there were only two picnic tables that I could see spread throughout the whole park. More picnic tables, as well as better bathroom access (especially for families, we brought young kids and it was rough not having any bathrooms nearby at 6:00 p.m. for our family picnic) would be a plus for this great spot. It does look as though it is in a constant state of improvement though so hopefully those added details will be coming soon! Otherwise it's a very relaxing and peaceful park on the water (be aware though that it is along the train tracks so sometimes the trains go speeding by and this does interrupt the tranquility--however my son is all about trains so we loved watching them go by. Just want to mention it for anyone who is thinking that this is a completely quiet spot) and I definitely recommend it.
