Needed a food box but they didn't have anything. This is a first. Always clean, half organized, with a mixed bag of "volunteers". The Community Action Center is a life saver for many families. Between food boxes, clothing vouchers, and other emergency services the CCAC impacts nearly every citizen in Sandy and the surrounding area

They are always trying to help people out, they are very kind, generous and give their time and energy to give back. They provide food boxes to many, free bread, and often have really good deals for warm clothes.

Yes they will take any food you have that isn't expired
No the donation times are Tuesday and Thursday from 11 to 3. No furniture they don't have the room!
I'm sure they could do that you'd have to ask them to be sure,I would call them if I were you and leave a message and have someone call you.
Unfortunately we do not have that capacity; however, we are typically able to work with clients to establish an alternative pick up person for their food box.
We are not accepting household donations yet; probably will be closer to the middle or end of August.
Donation days are Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 11-3.
We take donations on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 11 - 3pm.
For food boxes you must live in oregon trail school district but they do have free bread and sweets most days in the front. You can shop here though

From what I know I don't think they will accept a couch. No room for it, that place is packed to the gills. You'll probably have better luck giving it away on Craigslist or one of the FB local groups.
