I was badly fooled by the reviews of this place…I should have known for $2 the slice was awful…. Barely any cheese and mostly tomato sauce and the slice was super small. It tasted like sauce from a can and was flavorless. The positives were it was crispy and the staff is nice but go somewhere else and pay full price for a regular slice it will be worth it.

Delicious fresh pizza slices. The price is right as well.

Quality sucks now ; quality was better when the price was $2 ; price went up & quality went down. Nobody wants pizza crust that’s hard like a cracker. Pizza crust is supposed to be soft. Owner is always yelling, dismissive & rude ; it’s almost as if making more money has made him more rude than ever. And the shorter Latino guy is even worst than the owner ; the absolute definition of RUDE. This used to be my favorite spot not anymore. Nothing is worst than bad service & pizza in NYC. WHOLE FOODS AT 14street has a better & bigger pepperoni slice for the same price

Percy's Pizza serves up pizza pies and slices on Bleecker for over a decade and i have yet to be disappointed by its cheese + sauce + crust offerings. is it the greatest pizza ever in the universe? no, but its pizza is consistently very good pizza. a small retro-ish school pizza joint with a couple of tables inside and some outdoor seating via shed in front. the vibe is very much that of NYC pizzerias that are quickly disappearing from the boroughs's food-scape. well maintained and organized. Percy's doesn't pop up on many folks radars bc it very much a neighborhood spot and hasn't been overhyped by goofy influencers on Instagram and TikTok. but trust me--the plain cheese is where it is at. there are a variety of specialty pies and slices from pepperoni to mixed to veggies. one thing i like is the slices are not over-the-top and just focus on making a tasty slice without needing any flash or sizzle. that’s why i really appreciate the plain cheese slice for its simplicity and attention to the basics: cheese, sauce, and crust. the plain slice has a crust on the thinner side not too much flop with decent crispness. the sauce is flavorful without being too overpowered by any one element with a little sweetness. it is a simple slice which does not miss. perfect for post-drinking or when you need some calories on the go or simply need to take a break from the city’s din and escape into calories by sitting down with some carbs. plain slice, $2 the staff is chill and genuinely friendly. it’s been a two-man operation. one at the counter and the other making pies.
