Pretty underwhelming experience so far. Here is exactly what I've dealt with: 1) Got sold on upgrading to a higher end salt water spa with automation and ozone to purify it. Expensive upgrade, but seemed well-worth the cost in the long run. Was told it would be around 4 months for them to manufacture, ship, deliver, etc. Which was fine, I needed time. However it did end up coming in much later, I believe it was a 7 month wait. Frustrating, but not too big of a deal. 2) Upon delivery, it turns out they manufactured my spa WITHOUT the roughly $10,000 of upgrades. No salt water, no automation, no ozone. So they had to install it all aftermarket, which makes me concerned about the longevity of this $25,000 spa. 3) I've already had multiple issues with error codes and parts dying. While the spa is under warranty, this makes me HIGHLY concerned for when it's out of warranty. It seems like it's going to become a money pit, after they boasted in the showroom about how their spas often go for 20+ years with little maintenance. So far I'm exactly 1 year in, and the service people have had to be here at least 5 times. They came yesterday, fixed an issue, and less than 24 hours later I am having them out again because the same error code has shut the spa off from both filtering itself and from heating itself. --------------------------- Fortunately their service staff are really nice guys and seem to have a pretty good grasp on what they're doing. I have been treated pretty well by the staff, it just seems that the product isn't (thus far) living up to the $25,000 price tag. I will come back to this review and update it if my experience changes. It's an incredible spa when it works, but sadly, I'm not sure how often it's going to do so. ---------------------------- **UPDATED AFTER CUSTOMER SERVICE SAW THIS REVIEW** After who I presume is the owner of Arctic Spas saw my shared experience above, I had Douglas who is the head of the service department give me a call personally. He gave me his cell phone number and showed more interest in making this work than any of the previous staff I had spoken with. He told me he disagreed with how the previous tech handled my repair and that it was a bandaid rather than a fix. He sent out a different tech 2 days later and wrote him personal notes, and required him to call when the tech was on site to perform the repairs. They settled on replacing one of my pumps even though it was only a year old. They replaced it with a lower efficiency pump that has a higher volume of water flow, which seems to have stopped my overheat related issues. I'm on about 5 days now without any error codes and it's working well. To make it up to me, they threw in a few free filters and some free chems which was maybe a $200-ish value. A drop in the bucket compared to the $25k hot tub, however it did make me feel a bit better that they're willing to put their money where their mouth is. Douglas tells me that even though this spa has a 5 year warranty, they've noted my issues and concerns during year 1 and he says they won't leave me high and dry if these issues continue over time. So hopefully when the time comes, Douglas is still in charge and can keep things going smoothly. I will update this review again in the future, to a higher mark if I continue to have no issues for the spa over the coming months. If I get more error codes, I'll be back to share how it's handled. This is a large expense and a product that's sold to last 20+ years. I want to make sure other consumers know what they are getting into, as a local business owner myself.

This Spa is INCREDIBLE!!! My wife and I had been thinking about getting a spa for years, but my wife being a naturopathic doctor was against getting a chemical chlorine tub and to be honest, I didn't want to deal with the headache of constantly managing chemicals. Then when COVID hit and we were stuck at home we decided to reach out to friends and friends of friends to find out if there were any good saltwater tubs out there with new technology that made them relatively maintenance-free. Luckily one of the old owners at Arctic Spa referred me to Jennifer who manages the Vancouver, WA store. Living on the East Side I was a bit nervous to order a tub all the way from Vancouver, Washington but Jennifer was nothing short of amazing! Even with all the supply shortages and delays, she kept me updated all the way and even tried to get my tub sooner due to customer cancellation. At the end of the day, it did take an extra 2-3 months longer than expected (the family would have liked to have had it before summer ended) but we were able to get exactly what we wanted which was a 100% saltwater system (so no chlorine smell, no need to shower after use) with the "Spa Boy" option which is a completely automated system with wifi app that manages/monitors your chlorine and PH levels. So far we have had it for a few weeks (the family has been using it 1-2 times per day) and it's been practically zero maintenance, besides having to add half a cap lid to lower the PH and that's it! If anyone in Seattle is shopping around looking for a hot tub that is relatively maintenance-free it's worth at least giving Jennifer a call to check out Arctic Spas.

The manager took time to walk us through the process of purchasing a refurbished Arctic spa, what they had on hand, and what the process and time frame looked like. She listened to what we wanted and helped us see the different models they had and never pressured us in a direction but always listened and helped us know our options. We have started the process of purchasing a refurbished spa and the experience has been great this far. We were referred here by our new neighbours who own an Arctic Spa and the experience matched their experience.

After using it daily for a couple of months now, we are loving our Arctic Spa! We felt that communication could have been a bit better before we received our spa and during the delivery scheduling process. However, since delivery, Jennifer has responded very quickly to my texts with maintenance questions and has been very helpful. Looking forward to many years of use!
