They wouldn't accept my textbook return because there was minor water damage in the bottom right corner that shows the page numbers and only on the first 75 pages (out of about 500). Essentially, I was forced to buy it. It was relatively cheaper than purchasing a new replacement, but still. I'm starting to think the damage was already there from the previous owner as I usually take care of my textbooks. Oh, and another thing. The publisher was so cheap that it didn't have a hard or soft cover, just the loose pages!

It's disheartening that this public university bookstore is charging a exorbitant amount for textbooks. Even if you happen to rent a textbook it is just 50% of how much it would cost to buy the new version. Unfortunately when you return the rental in good condition there is no reimbursement at all! I'm extremely surprised that this bookstore only allows those with Veteran's Administration, Oregon Trade Act, or another similar agency. Why wouldn't you allow struggling college students to use their FAFSA?!? This bookstore is also partnered with Barns & Noble so you know they are all about PROFIT. I hope they change their business model and take notes from how PCC (Portland Community College) operates.

Have always loved this place. The staff recommendation shelf is my favorite. I love that I can locate my favorite book and find four used versions with four different covers. There's a good autographed section. They've got magazines and all the lit journals. One of the best bookstores in the world!

My second all time favorite bookstore in the US (it's hard to beat Powell's City of Books in Portland, OR). Amazing selection of full priced, as well as bargain books over multiples levels. Enjoyed a delightful selection of local gifts including postcards and apparel at lower prices than neighboring shops. Sincerely plan to make this a must on future trips to Massachusetts.

Hi Nikolay - thank you for reaching out about Sunday hours. We were open the Sunday prior to classes starting (9/23). Over the last few years we had been open the Sunday before move-in week and the Sunday prior to the second week of classes, but not very many students came to the Bookstore to shop those days, so this year we were not open. We instead scheduled those employees to work during the busiest weekday times to help alleviate long lines and provide more customer service. Extended back-to-school store hours are always posted in advance to assist students with planning. Be sure to always check psubookstore.com as well as google for that info. Thanks!
