Healing winds is a fabulous place! The owner Nancy and her daughter Brenda are awsome! The horses and other animals are precious. And the volunteers are great. Everyone their are great.

Our son received nothing therapeutic or healing at this riding center. As his mother, I received only a lasting feeling of nausea and regret whenever I think about the red flags I ignored as his lessons progressed. After dealing with pediatric OT and therapy over Zoom through the pandemic I wanted so much for something like this to work for him, he sounded like the perfect candidate based on their website. I wish I had recognized the toxicity sooner and stopped it. I do not want to publish personal details about my son online, however, since I can't go back in time and warn myself, I would like to warn other parents in my place. If you have a child with behavioral or developmental difficulties and are considering taking them to Healing Winds Therapeutic Riding Center, please don't.
