I've never swam here but a man just died from drowning here due to fast and unpredictable cold under currents. I just want to warn people to BE CAREFUL. I also just read another review that there is an old warning sign saying other people have drowned too but they haven't repaired it and it's hard to see!

Beautiful park down by the river! Very strong current and the old sign said 6 people drowned here already, so swim at a slower spot up river. Homeless sleeping in bushes, but pretty safe and very scenic location!
