Food was okay. Definitely overpriced for mediocre food. It wasn't fantastic It wasn't horrible. Took 45 minutes to get a drink. To get a second drink took 23 minutes. We were there 10 people for my family we have been at many restaurants that can give drinks no problem. I couldn't drink to my father's birthday toast because they took so long. The food was mediocre for the price. When you're coming in with a crowd of 10 plus people you shouldn't wait to order to get bread. Most of the family went through two drinks or three before even getting bread. Also very slow for our dinner took 3 hours.

WOW! What a gem. The food was fantastic, the interior and the gardens were lovely, and the staff was attentive and helpful. Had it been warmer, we would have taken our meal at one of the many tables in the garden. There is a bakery as part of this establishment, and the fresh bread was excellent, with a crisp crust and soft interior. Along with the bread, was a plate with four spreading options - I loved the one with olives, spouse tucked into the one with humus. The menu had a wide variety of dinner offerings. My spouse had a Soba noodle bowl that was flavorful and plentiful. I had crispy chicken - lovely crunch followed by fork-tender meat, all beautifully seasoned. To accompany my chicken was a mound of rich, creamy, and smooth mashed potatoes, along with cooked-to-perfection, cauliflower. Others in our party had a rack of lamb that was beautifully prepared and reported to be top-notch. Rave reviews by our friend who had the salmon. It was a Thursday night when we visited, and most of the tables were full. I am glad we had a reservation. We have already planned our return visit.

I was passing through Clifton Springs and stopped in for lunch. I’m so glad I did! The staff were very friendly and engaging! The was food was delicious. I had the reuben melt, which was massive. Missed the chance to get a picture because I was so hungry I dove right in. The building is historic and the grounds are beautiful!

Incredible gem 💎 in the heart of the village elegant historic and memorable. Staff is super friendly and welcoming. Delicious entree options. Strongly recommend you give them a try.
