This place is exactly what you would expect for a diner. Super friendly staff and amazing food. I wish I had taken a picture of my breakfast to show you. Definitely a place you need to go!

Another place that has bounced back really good from the covid lock downs. After 6 visits here, half for lunch and half for dinner I can't say a bad thing about the food or service. Always good food and friendly service.

We almost didn't stop here because the outside looked a little tired and run down but the high star reviews on Google convinced us and we decided to try it. So glad we did! In fact we went back the next day because we enjoyed it so much. Don't judge this book by its cover! My husband's steak was amazing! The sear was perfect and the meat was juicy and flavorful without being over seasoned. The burger was great, the chicken continental was great (mashed potatoes and gravy could use some more seasoning) the house fries were good, tasted like Dutch oven potatoes, salad was good although I'd prefer the veggies to be cut smaller. The Italian wedding soup was AMAZING the first night, the second night we came just before closing so there weren't many meatballs left in the soup and it was too salty for my taste but my husband still really enjoyed it. They make almost everything in the restaurant homemade and the soups are made fresh daily and tossed by the end of the night, not saved and reheated (we know this because the waitress offered my husband a free cup because they were about to dump it anyway). The only thing I'm aware of that's not made in house at the desserts and I will say these were lacking in quality. I ordered the chocolate cake which was dusted with powdered sugar, it looked fantastic but when I tried it I could taste a pepper flavor. I thought it was odd and figured maybe somehow a sprinkle of pepper got on that particular bite but I kept noticing it and then my husband pointed out that it was the powdered sugar that tasted that way. He had the same powdered sugar on his banana cream pie and we tasted it plain. It was definitely that. So that kind of ruined dessert for me. The service both nights was fantastic and friendly. The inside atmosphere was cozy, the price was right. We'd definitely recommend this place, but if I had a word of advice or feedback for the establishment it would be to make the desserts in house to match the quality of the rest of the food :)

Great food. Ate the special, the Mississippi (?) Benedict... Tasty. A little bit expensive, as all places have become post pandemic they need to drop prices a dollar on literally every single item... Source more local food from local farms or raise their own chickens or something. Diner is clean, the booths are well maintained. Staff is friendly but aging out. Not so hip for younger crowd, it is more a boomer spot. Good food though, made with consideration and love. Just a bit dated. Needs younger generation to take over, locals need to support local business daily or weekly for the love of everything holy people...
