Used to be an amazing place to find gems and amazing deals on things. But ever since COVID it seems that the amount of people taking on reselling as a "side hustle" has multiplied many times over. These resellers will not only spend hours hogging up entire bins, scanning and looking up each and every thing. But will spend the entire DAY at the store waiting to get first dibs on every new bin. A time limit for each bin would be greatly appreciated, as I used to be able to consistently find good stuff here and now almost never do anymore.

The employees are not personable. They don't talk to you, say hello, they don't even make eye contact with customers.. unless you directly confront them _ and that's just weird. The store is large and has an extensive laundry list- plus, of items... Buuut... I'd say half or more of the items r broken from carelessness and or in unacceptable conditions. Overall though, as a customer, if you have alot of time to rummage through God knows what.. and you have a keen eye,.. you can find very cool things for very little $

The Bins (Goodwill Outlet Store) are not everyone's cup of tea. They are crowded and hectic, and you have to dig through literal bins to look for things. But prices are usually cheap, and there are always cool things to find. Check it out! You'll either love it or hate it.

Random bargains await. Big blue bins are rolled in and out every few minutes. Items in the bins are priced per pound, which makes some heavier items way too expensive, but some items are a steal. Individually priced furniture and large items are located in the back of the store. Timid shoppers don't do well, as people can be pushy, and generally don't ascribe to normal shopping etiquette. If you have a germ phobia, this place will freak you out. Gloves are occasionally worn by customers, but generally not necessary. A full bin of clothes being clawed through by 30 people puts out a lot of dust and whatever airborne particles live in used fabric. Folks with dust allergies better wear a mask or go to a big box store and avoid this shopping adventure altogether. Be careful where you park. Customers unfortunately leave empty shopping carts randomly throughout the parking lot and rarely push them back to the store. Staff are friendly and helpful. They deal with an eclectic mix of shoppers every day, and as far as retail challenges, they have probably seen it all. This is a good place to drop off donations. Yes, they does.
Yes you can donate and buy books at this location.
Yes they definitely do,some they sell and the rest they E- cycle
No. The outlet will continue to be in the same location as it is now.
All employees are masked and wear gloves.
Masks are required, employees bring a bin to your car, and if you need help you may want to bring someone with you.
They do take donations at the bins. And I've bought hand tools from them.
Yup
The Hillsboro outlet used to be Supply One, a hardware store. It closed down end of 2000
Depends on many factors, especially the number of consecutive days spent digging through mounds of butt-scented trash. For you, 1LB of hopelessly tangled chargers for cell phones manufactured in the early 2000s may cost a couple bucks. But that lady next to you who's managed to wrangle 3 shopping carts simultaneously which are all overflowing with faded and forgotten porcelain nightmares, dog-eared wide-ruled notebook pads with the scribblings of children who will never visit her, and several costumes for her pantheon of cats that have all been thoughtfully chosen to match an aspect of the cat's personality traits which are actually just her projecting through all the broken little pieces of what was once a whole-person but buckled under the weight of a poor home life, complete lack of coping skills, and a hunger for the abyss that she knows can never be sated. This lady will not be paying in USD today, but instead will render payment using the rotten and weeping remnants of her soul.
