What are the rules about dogs on the beach? I thought there might be special rules for shellfish beaches?

You know the rules. You always put your dog on a leash and you put your dog's poop in the bag and throw it away in a appropriate trash can

I'm not sure because it depends where you are. Usually in park areas they have signs. Now...I have seen many dogs on the beaches all up and down hood canal!sooooo?......I usually look for signs tho.

The only official off-lease beach is on Pacific Ocean part of the State.

As it has been said before, all animals have been on a leash at all times. Do not leave animals alone and please pick up after your pets. There are cyotes and sharp shells to be aware of so please keep this in mind.
