It's frowned upon, but you can bring alcohol. Just not in coolers.

You're not supposed to but we brought 2 bottles of wine with us to drink in the room.
I read in the brochure at the hotel, that bringing outside alcohol in is strictly prohibited. So keep it on the down-low if you do!
